Employees having babies is a happy event, but it can come with a variety of statutory requirements that employers must be aware of, both during the employee’s pregnancy and after giving birth.

Employees who are pregnant (and their spouses) have various rights and protections available to them under federal law, including under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, to name a few.

This webinar will review the rights and protections available to such employees under federal employment laws and how employers can be prepared to respond to employees’ needs in circumstances ranging from employees disabled by pregnancy-related medical conditions all the way through an employee’s return from bonding leave.
